Water Division
Water Division, which is operated under General Sales Co. Ltd., more than 30 years, has been specialized in the fields of Water Supply, Water and Wastewater Treatment. Water Division undertakes Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects on turnkey basis within its scope of interests. Water Division also has substantial overseas experience, by undertaking a few projects in the Republic of Maldives.
Due to the consistency in offering high quality products and services for numerous customers over a long period of time, Water Division had gained a high reputation amongst its customers and considered as one of the most undisputed M&E contractors in Sri Lanka and holds the Grade EM2 of ICTAD registration.
The water division is managed by a group of highly qualified graduate Engineers and professional business Managers who have a proven track record in the Techno-commercial field, Project Management and Contract Administration.
The division is well equipped with showroom facilities for effective marketing and ISO 9001:2015 certified electrical panel fabrication workshops to carryout installations and to provide necessary after sales services. The success of the division is also attributed to the principals who conduct special training programs and seminars from time to time to update the information and knowledge for the marketing and service personnel.

To meet the objectives it is our policy to:
- Operate a Quality Management System complying with the ISO 9001:2015 standards and applicable statutory & regulatory requirements that regularly evaluates its designs, processes and customer needs.
- Regularly review the achieved results of the system to ensure that continual improvements of the system and processes are maintained.
- Ensure that all employees understand the importance of quality in their work and implement the quality management system as a normal part of their activities.
The policy has been communicated to all employees by displaying at the company premises & reviewed in the management review meeting, matched with the objectives to achieve continual improvement.
